Taka Kurita is a native of Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. He has been involved in music production for artists at a major record label in Japan. While in university, he began seriously pursuing photography alongside studying traditional Japanese painting. His dream at the time was to travel the world and publish photography books. As his music career became busier, he drifted away from photography. However, in 2008, his passion for photography was reignited when he captured the image of a beautiful woman. Since then, he has dedicated himself earnestly to both music and photography. Starting in 2019, he began to explore themes of self-reflection and capturing emotions in his photography. He particularly favors photographs that convey a sense of serenity and happenstance. In recent years, he has continued to focus on photography centered around his hometown of Kamakura.
